6. Don't get online on Saturday night after drinking wine and port and malt whisky and then cognac. I made this mistake once before (different combination fo poison, but same result.) I got whooped on Sat night. My opponents picked up on my loose play and started calling more. That's fine, I switched strategies on them and raised my starting hand requirements. About that time, I started getting dealt some heat. Four different times I was all-in with high pairs heads up against an inferior hand. Four times my opponent paired (3 of 4 times they paired an ace) on the river to win. I wish PP offered insurance.
So anyway, I got clobbered, but then I invested about 3 hours of time on Sunday on PP and thankfully won 90% of it back. It took a sweet hand of JJ all-in to AA and TT to flop quad Jacks to win half of that. Most of the rest came on a river full house to beat a straight. Whew! A wild ride just to end up basically even.
