The final episode of the WSOP aired last week w/o a peep from us on the subject. It was nice to see fellow Dallasite win $3.5 million. Here is a nice article on him.
I thought the final episodes were entertaining, but not as interesting as last year. My favortie moment of the final episode was Jesus' bluff. My favorite moment of the WSOP was the standing O Doyle got.
The most surreal experience of watching this years WSOP was being at a sushi restaurant on Thursday night. Not only was the WSOP over a few months ago...the final episode already aired on Tuesday. No worry, about 1/3 of the eyes in the restaurant were glued to the TV (that had the volume muted) I am still in awe about how popular poker on TV has become.
Random thoughts from a lawyer, an accountant, a commodities trader, an ex-Marine and a WSOP Main Event money finisher that don't know as much as they wish they did...
