I saw it at Barnes and Noble the other night and flipped through it... It purportedly covers different games than those in the first book, but it really is just a rehash of the first book, talking about Omaha instead of Holdem, etc etc. Plus, the pictures are more up to date and the names are recognizable. But really, it's the same book.
Dan Harrington's new book was right next to it - I flipped through that and was very interested. I'll have to buy it sooner or later.
I think that the biggest knock on the original SS is that the advice is for a set of rules that are out of date, including most notably: - blind structure - the existence of antes
This changes the strategy and I hoped that the new SS would adjust strategy for the new rules
