I don't know if any of you saw this last night, but Channel 2 News did a report on last week's bust of the Friendship Social Club (aka Duece Trey).

Um, yeah, those are the guys. Wow. Although I think the "illegal den of gambling" breathlessness is a little bit over the top. If anything they should have been busted for the huge-ass rake that they took out of those games (which is one of the reasons I quit going in the first place!)

And the lady that they interviewed about the "drinking and yelling and always some kind of party going on" was clearly embellishing her story a little bit, though. I hadn't been over there in more than a year, but alchohol wasn't allowed inside as near as I could remember. There were plenty of drunk people, but they got drunk somewhere else before they showed up.

Kind of funny to see a news story from (sort of) the other side. Wow.
