Just because it's 3-6 limit doesn't mean you have to play with Louisiana-style starting hands. Somebody call Lee Jones!

That said, your only mistake was getting into the pot in the first place. Everything after that was "just poker." It was a tough break, but you should have been trying to maximize value there and you did.

I agree w John. Well played after the flop...

But the reason not to play crap hands isnt because they don't hit. It is because when they do hit, you still might lose, & lose a lot.

Case in point.

Fro, that is an excellent point.

Every hand, even crap hands, has an equal chance of hitting... but every hand doesn't necessarily have an equal chance of being the best hand on the table.

If you can call flopping a set versus two pair and raising all the way to the end "outplaying" someone. But your point is taken.
