Eliminated on the very first hand of a 3-Table $30 SNG. Not much I could do here, and I think I played it about as well as possible.

I would say your post flop bet was a little large. I like to vary my continuation bets from a baseline of half the pot. Adjusting up or down based on the situation, and varying my own play to not become predictable. Since this was the first hand, and I'm assuming you had no info the other guy. I probably would have made a slightly less than half pot sized bet give the fact that it was the first hand. This makes it easier to release later on with less money invested.
You were very vulnerable after the flop, but apparently read weakness in your opponent. which is fine. Bad reads happen, but when he re-raised you on the river, that should have sent up a warning shot that maybe you should fold, and battle with your diminished stack rather than risk it all on hand one.
I'm no expert, and don't make fun of me for my blog which is in it's infancy. Just thought I'd comment. Since I've read, and re-read, and digested Harrington's stuff, the word "continuation bet" looks familiar to me.
