1.) The tourney is up to 36 entries, 9 paid. Tenacious is in, but I think he will be going by his real name at the tourney.

2.) If you live in Houston and want a cool idea for a cheap night away from the house, the new Hilton hotel next to the convention center is making rooms available on Priceline for ~ $60 on weekends when there are no big conventions in town. Mrs Johnnymac and I stayed there last night to check it out and it made for a nice in-town getaway. It's is the newest hotel in town and is pretty nice for the price - you can do a lot worse for a $60 hotel room.

3.) My brother and his wife in Austin had their first baby on Friday night, so that now makes me Uncle Johnnymac. Little O is the first grandchild for my parents and looks just like me (if I looked like a baby) and she has my hair, which of course means she has no hair to speak of. I am excited and get to go meet her next weekend -
