In case you wondered why the UT football field is named after Joe Jamail...
what was the point of this post? To show a poorly run deposition?

Yes, that's exactly it. I wanted to show you an example of a "poorly run deposition" so you could recognize it if you ever saw one.
Brilliant.

Sorry, I don't know the reference to Joe Jamail. Not from Texas.
The "insipid verbal diarrhea" was funny, but the guy uttering it comes off as "insipid visual diarrhea".
I know depositions are to be avoided, but holy cow, this one's really bad. The lawyers in the video would probably get censured by the presiding judge if he got wind of their behavior.
Shakespeare was right - kill all the lawyers...

Man, I gotta go to law school so that I can get in on this action. I love it.

For those that don't know about Joe Jamail (the lawyer whose hands you can see on the right), he is one of the richest (worth over a billion) and most successful lawyers in the nation. He is referred to as the "King of Torts"
He is most famous for representing Pennzoil and winning the largest verdict in U.S. history, $10.53 billion.
He has donated over $100 million to UT.

............... But he couldn't fork some of that to Vince to stay one more year?

A&M is the one that pays its players, not UT
