I'm sorry, but that was just embarassing.
Dominated.
Who do you UT fans blame it on? Where was that run D? I think the last team to run on UT like that was...A&M last year.
Who would have thought a freshman QB would have the same impact on the team as VY did.
As Colt goes..........

In my opinion most Texas fans aren't overly upset about the poor performance of this season. They're still on a high from last year, and realize that we aren't even close to the same team as before. Colt just isn't good enough yet. Whether or not he ever will be "good enough," remains to be seen.
I was excited about the possibility of a repeat national championship, but the Kansas State game nipped that in the bud. As far as I'm concerned, UT's season was over after that game, not the ATM game.
ATM looked good. McGee is the real deal and will be a great quaterback for ATM. Javorski Lane is a train. They should give him the ball much more.
Texas should've won that game. They are the better team. But not by much. ATM outplayed them and deserved the win.
I'm going back to Tivo to watch last year's Rose Bowl.. .

So a 5-point win is now considered "domination"?
If that's the case, then what are 43-17 (2000), 50-20 (2002), and 46-15 (2003) considered -- obliteration?
Full respect to the Ags for a hard-fought win, but talk of "domination" should probably be throttled back a bit...

I use the term "dominated" because I never really thought that UT had any chance to win that game after the 4th down stop by the Aggies.
I'm a realist, and normally I'd recognize the talent difference and expect to see someone on the Horns make a play, sway the momentum, and then watch the snowball. Just my perspective, but I didn't see the UT swagger out of the players, as if they were in fact deflated by the K State loss.
And as for my previous comment...no matter how well the defense ranked or what special teams plays that UT could come up with, the success or failure during the last 2 years for UT has been reflected in the QB position. I was expecting something like the old Baltimore Ravens (All Defense + No QB = Win Anyway) Instead the success of McCoy brought wins, and his ineffective games brought losses.
And yes, those other games could be considered obliteration. Think I care?

You never really thought UT had ANY chance to win after a 4th down stop 5 minutes into the game? Even though UT had just driven the the length of the field with relative ease? Even though A&M was losing the game with 4 minutes to play? Even though all of A&M's losses this year came in the final minute?
C'mon, Padilla. Isn't that just a wee bit of after-the-fact bravado?
