One final bit in news, I turned off my Tivo season pass for High Stakes Poker a while back (bc of that stupid thing where it can't discern reruns from new shows.) Evidently, I have missed the start of the new season.
Also, my Vegas trip is coming up in two weeks - please send me your thoughts on where to play.
Just got back from Vegas. Played NL at Caesar's and the Venetian. Ceasar's had 1-3NL and 2-5NL (nothing bigger). There were 3 or 4 tables of 2-5, and that's where I played.
They also have several tournaments every day, ranging from $65-$300 buy-in. It's a nice room, but the action wasn't all that great.
Now the action at the 3-Card Poker table was hot. That's the game that kept Daddy in business this weekend.
Random thoughts from a lawyer, an accountant, a commodities trader, an ex-Marine and a WSOP Main Event money finisher that don't know as much as they wish they did...
