I was at the Astros game last night with a friend from church who grew up in Poughkeepsie and is a serious all his life type Mets fan. He was wearing his jersey and his hat and came with a clean baseball so he could stand next to the wall for 15 minutes hoping David Wright would walk over and sign an autograph. Dude was stoked and for 7 innings he had reason to be.
Too bad for him that it had to be the 2nd most exciting finish to an Astros game that I've ever witnessed in person.
